MODERN AU TIMELINE
- she's engaged but her fiance is a medic in the army and is deployed for x months so she looks for an apartment/roommate in this time
- Apollo answers Marduk's craigslist ad for a roommate as a joke and he for some reason accepts her
- the first six or so months is her being annoying and Marduk regretting his decision but sometimes liking her but mostly finding her insufferable
- then her fiance is reported KIA and Apollo kinda has a breakdown
- Marduk is there for her and they bond and eventually become real friends
- continue to stay roommates for x years
- shenanigans happen and drugs are sold
- meets Malakai, they fuck around, start dating, start getting serious
- after a year and some months of dating they get married
